J&K Govt constitute a committee over PRC issue of women married to non-state subjects and Jobs

JAMMU: J&K government has constituted a committee which will look into the issue of validity of permanent resident certificates issued to woman married outside the state to the non-state subjects.

Sources told Cross Town News that the committee includes Advocate General Jahangir Iqbal Ganai, Commissioner/Secretary Revenue Mohammed Asharaf Mir, Commissioner/Secretary Law Abdul Majeed Bhat and Special Secretary Revenue Farooq Ahmed ,Advocate H.A.Siddiqui and Advocate N.H.Shah .

The committee was constituted on directions of Governor N.N.Vohra.

This happened as one lady filed a complaint on State Subject laws to Governor.

The  Lady was  selected as teacher and thye she approached SSB for her recommendation letter but SSB refused citing reason since she had married a non-state subject and her state subject certificate was not valid anymore.

On this  the lady approached the office of Governor and thius the committee came into picture which will decide the fate of many in coming days.
