JAMMU, MARCH 4: A cultural programme on the occasion of Women’s Day was organized here in the lawns of Raj Bhavan, today. This event, hosted by Mrs. Usha Vohra, First Lady, was attended by women Legislators, officers and wives of Civil, Police, Judicial and Military officers.
The programme organized by Doordarshan Kendra and Radio Kashmir- Jammu, included musical performances presented by singers from within and outside the State. The performances included folk songs in Dogri; Urdu and Kashmiri Ghazals; Light Classical; semi Classical dance and Sufi songs in Punjabi.
The programme was designed by Ms. Anjali Sharma, Director Radio Kashmir Jammu and anchored by Ms. Madhavi Sharma, renowned Broadcaster DD Kendra Jammu.
The artists who performed included Sh. Dharmesh Nargotra, Ms. Swarn Vijh, Sh. Jeevan Sharma, Sh. Ramalo Ram and Party, Ms. Priya Dutta and Group, Mr. Ravi Bhan and Ms. Suman Bhatti.
