SRINAGAR, Mar 04: Encounter that began on Friday evening between the suspected militants and army, paramilitary and police in Shopian’s Chillipora was called off of Saturday morning as militants reportedly flew from the cordoned area.
The militants who reportedly threw a grenade managed to escape as the operation prolonged for night due to poor visibility in the deep dark.
Army’s 55 RR and SOG J&K police jointly carried out search operations.
