KATHUA, Oct 07: Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Ramesh Kumar while chairing weekly PRAYAS meeting stressed upon the Health department to undertake the process of fogging in dengue hit Mearth village and adjoining villages and ensure none household is left without proper fogging.The DC also directed CMO Kathua to monitor the health of the people whose sample has been tested dengue positive and emphasized on educating people to maintain sanitation in their houses and surroundings.
During the meeting a total of 20 callers today registered their grievances telephonically in PRAYAS phone-in programme held in DC office complex today.Callers from different parts of the district projected their problems related to scarcity of drinking water, low voltage and unscheduled power curtailment, ration and road connectivity.
While responding to the issues projected by different callers, DC issued on the spot instructions to the officers for early redressal of their grievances/ problems in time bound manner.DC Kathua also reviewed the disposal of the earlier registered grievances and directed officers to redress the registered issues on priority.
