Katra, March 03: Two protesters were injured and eight others has been taken into custody when the traders clashed with police in Katra over the issue of Katra Adhkuwari link road. Katra observed a complete Bandh due to lathi charge & arrest.
The clash took place when the traders along-with Ponneywallas tried to march towards Katra Adhkuwari link road where the board has started the construction.
Section 144 has been imposed and the construction is going on under heavy police presence.
Reports said that the traders of the route of the Yatra have also joined the protestors. A protestor tried to immolate himself.
