22 Retail Licenses, Wholesale Outlets Of Medicine Suspended

 Jammu, Jan 12: Licenses of 22 retail/wholesale outlets in Doda/Kishtwar has been suspended and their operations were disallowed by Drugs & Food Control Organization for committing breaches of the provisions of Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940.
The team carried out surprise supervisory checks of more than 80 retail outlets situated in Bhaderwah, Thathri, Drabshalla, Pathri, Karrah, Prem Nagar, Kandni, Khellani, Jakyas, Bhatyas, Kellar, Dunadhi, Gandoh, Kishtwar, etc. etc.
Drug samples of 34 formulations were taken to check the identity, strength and purity of these drugs & referred to State Drug Testing Laboratories for framing legal opinion to ascertain their quality parameters.
