299 Dengue Case Found Positive Speaks About JMC's Cleanliness Drive

Jammu, October 12: 12 fresh cases of dengue were reported in Jammu region, taking the number of people affected with this disease so far to 299, however result of 187 samples are still awaited.

No death has been reported due to dengue so far, Out of which 263 have been reported in Jammu district followed by eleven in Samba, six each in Kathua and Udhampur districts, five in Doda and Rajouri districts and one each in Poonch and Kishtwar districts.

This speaks of the working of Jammu Municipal Corporation, which shows the fumigations etc. in photographs but where. A complaintant had reported that he made a complaint on 5th of October for fumigation byt the some official telephonically told that turn of your lane is on 11th but nothing done speaks of quicknes of the JMC or they are waiting for more dengue cases then they will act.

However a photograph of that lane is here that one put a fire on the garbage dump to save the peoples of area from mosquetos as JMC did not picked up the garbage dump in the face of lane No.2 Vasant Vihar, Trikuta Nagar Extention for which complaint filed on 5th October.

Who is the authority to act on it?  It shall follow.......................................
