JAMMU, July 28: Kanak Mandi Traders Association organized a welcome function in honor of the MLA Jammu East Rajesh Gupta today. He was accompanied by Senior BJP leader Pradeep Sharma and JMC health officer Zafar Iqbal.The function was attended by a large number of the members of the trader’s federation. Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion declared Kanak Mandi Market as Heritage Bazar.In the board meeting it has been decided to develop Kanak Mandi Bazar as Heritage Bazaar and all the necessary steps for the same would be taken within shortest possible time.

Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that within days AIIMS would be declared for Jammu. He said that all those who are crying for AIIMS today were  actually responsible for the murder of AIIMS in 2003,which was actually given to Jammu by the then Union Health Minister Smt.Sushma Swaraj Ji.Rajesh Gupta paid rich tributes to the departed former President Shri A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. Recalling him as the peoples President he said that Kalam Sahib was a shining star of India. Kalam Sahib was the harbinger of scientific revolution in India and it is due to his contribution that the country’s defense became impregnable by the development of Missile and nuclear technologies.

The prominent  members of the traders federation who were present on the occasion included Vijay Gupta President, Secretary Anoop Mittal, Ranbir Gupta, Rakesh Gupta, Yash Pal Gupta. Prominent among those who accompanied the MLA included Naresh Sharma, Balraj Gupta, Girdhari lal, Dwarka Nath, Swamy Nath Aggarwal, Manav, Harjung Singh, Parvenn Deli, Rajev Bhardwaj, Kuldeep, Sham Lal, Chaman Lal, Raj Kumar,Gopal and Amit.
